Don't leave Duck Pond without first going for a hike along the Woodtown Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Clinton Inn Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a great place to camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River. Going for a hike on the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is always a good adventure, and since you're       here you can play some golf at Valley Brook Golf Club. Duck Pond gets a lot of water; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is usually the driest month. Take a side visit to Demarest Brook, and if you need a site to stay Hilton Pearl River is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Sterling Forest is one of those things you just should do. If you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some pleasant                  whitewater, and Liberty Harbor RV Park is a great campground here. Throughout the months of summer at Duck Pond highs are regularly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Duck Pond. So many fun things to do at Duck Pond, so little time.
