If you are in Morris county it's always a good idea to stop by Duck Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of Duck Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hidden Valley if you're here, and if you're here at Duck Pond it's a perfect idea to go to Succasunna Plains. Paddling on India Brook is so much fun; near Duck Pond you hit upon a golf course called Picatinny Golf Club.

| | August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Very gorgeous scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Mountain Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Baker Mill Pond. Camping is available at Fla Net Park Campgrounds, and the sight of lovely Mount Arlington is pleasant.

why not camp at Columbia Valley Campground if you're here at Duck Pond. Summertime at Duck Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime
highs are usually in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Duck Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mt. Arlington, Nj is a good place to get some rest; get covered with water paddling on Paulins Kill River.
