Beautiful Dixons Pond has much to offer visitors. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Cannonball Trail; Hampton Inn is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Parsippany is a great choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a delightful place to camp. High temperatures at Dixons Pond through the long summer days are in the 80's, and during the night

| | it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Dixons Pond throughout the winter typically dip into the 10's.
There's some exciting stuff to see at Dixons Pond Dam close to Dixons Pond; why not head up to Hidden Valley and strap some skis to your feet. local campground. The high level of rain makes Dixons Pond a reasonably wet spot; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's
for you then we recommend Pequannock River, and playing golf is lots of fun at Rockaway River Country Club. So many enjoyable things to do here at Dixons Pond, too splendid to be true. There are some fine whitewater spots on Rockaway
River, and the snow is good at Mountain Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Stony Brook is a glorious local stream.
