Golf can be played at Apple Ridge Country Club, and the snow is splendid at Mt. Peter. The high level of rainfall makes De Yoe Pond a quite wet place; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Sturr Pond; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered       with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Residence Inn Wayne is a magnificent choice; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sterling Forest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at De Yoe Pond. You don’t have to go far from De Yoe Pond to catch a sight of the water at Shadow Lake Dam, and don't leave De Yoe Pond without first                  going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail. Homewood Suites by Hilton Mahwah is a great site to get some rest, and a delightful view of gorgeous Campgaw Mountain is available. You could also visit Shadow Lake since you're here at De Yoe Pond; it's close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around De Yoe Pond; Pine Meadow Trail is a brilliant local trail. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at De Yoe Pond. A magnificent site to camp here at De Yoe Pond is Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. Why not camp at Rein Teen Tours if you're here at De Yoe Pond, and as expected Spring Lake Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to De Yoe Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
