If you haven’t been to New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route, you must schedule some time for it since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Buckingham Motel, and Cape May National Golf Club is a magnificent golf course close by. Daveys Lake gets a great deal of water; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is       October. Sunset Beach is next to Daveys Lake if you're in a beach type of mood, and do go to Lighthouse Pond, it's a delightful lake. Camping at Daveys Lake is great fun, Depot Travel Park is a great local campground, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Ocean City for sure. Take a little visit to Pond Creek while you're here at Daveys Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Atlas Inn Island Beach Resort is a magnificent choice. Now, you                  may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Daveys Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Spring Campground is a great site to camp, and you can hit the beach if you want, Higbee Beach is practically right here. Summertime highs at Daveys Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
