All the water falling down from the sky makes Dators Pond a wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Dators Pond is excellent! Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Ramapo River, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. High temperatures       at Dators Pond through the warm months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Dators Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. If you need a location to stay Sheraton Crossroads Hotel is a good choice; Darlington Lake Dam is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Lakes are pleasant; Silver Lake is a lake that's close to Dators Pond. If the weather is perfect here at Dators Pond, you can go for a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail; you can run the rapids of Pequannock River. While you're here at Dators Pond you can take a hike along the Kakiat Trail, and it's a wonderful idea to pop by Darlington Brook. Very gorgeous scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Mt. Peter, and if you came to camp Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a brilliant site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Cat Swamp right next door to Dators Pond make for perfect locations to pop by, and Apple Ridge Country Club is a golf course close by. A cool spot to pop by near Dators Pond is Hawk Rock; camping at Camp wabenaki is always a tremendous experience.
