All through the warm months highs here at Darlington Lake reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Darlington Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago, and hiking along the Pine Meadow Trail is pleasant fun. The high level of rainfall makes Darlington Lake a pretty wet location; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Sterling Forest, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Van Gelders Pond is just a very short distance away. Gotta ski! Mt. Peter is a good location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Apple Ridge Country Club is always a bliss, and do take a hike on the Kakiat Trail.
