Very delightful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Hidden Valley, and from Dalrymple Pond you get a nice view of Randall Hill. There's whitewater on India Brook for all you adrenaline kick people, and why not camp at Fla Net Park Campgrounds while you're here at Dalrymple Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Raritan River - North Branch in the       vicinity of Dalrymple Pond, and Dalrymple Pond Dam is an exciting thing to check out. High temperatures at Dalrymple Pond all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dalrymple Pond fall into the 10's. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable                  stuff to do here at Dalrymple Pond. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mt. Arlington, Nj is a magnificent choice, and camping at Dalrymple Pond is brilliant fun, Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a brilliant local campground. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Mount Arlington is a good place to spend a night or two; right next door to Dalrymple Pond you stumble on a golf course called Picatinny Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dover Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore. Dalrymple Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; throughout August this area sees the most rain while February is frequently the driest month.
