13 miles away We have stayed at the Fla-Net Campground twice. I find it very peaceful with nice surroundings and a friendly staff. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The restrooms/showers could use an update. I look forward to staying there again....

Cranberry Lake
17 miles away 2 PHOTOS Yeah, that's the entrance to the beach. It's located right where the old Lackawanna railroad tracks use to be adjacent the site where Bert and Mary's general store was located. The bulletin board in the background has been in that location for over 40 years.... I am a previous resident of Cranberry Lake and do not ever remember seeing a Welcome Sign. The last time I was visiting my mother was in October 2006. She lives just up the road from the Cranberry Lake Community Club club house. Many times in the past I have walked across the bridge into French's Grove without ever seeing a Welcome Sign; although I think it is a very good addition to welcome visitors....
Sunrise Lake
18 miles away Moving here 5 years ago, this is one of the most beautiful areas around, but is maintained very poorly. The surrounding areas are kept quite well, but it doesn't seem like cleaning the lake our yearly or bi-yearly is a priority.I would like to swim in this lake with my family, but do not feel it is of swimming calibur, and when ever we go there it is usually closed. Maybe you all could see the benefit to this park and invest a little in cleaning the water and the beach area, as there is way too much seaweed in the beach area. Thx for understanding....
