It's located right where the old Lackawanna railroad tracks use to be adjacent the site where Bert and Mary's general store was located. The bulletin board in the background has been in that location for over 40 years.... I am a previous resident of Cranberry Lake and do not ever remember seeing a Welcome Sign. The last time I was visiting my mother was in October 2006. She lives just up the road from the Cranberry Lake Community Club club house. Many times in the past I have walked across the bridge into French's Grove without ever seeing a Welcome Sign; although I think it is a very good addition to welcome visitors.... |

| 18 miles away Moving here 5 years ago, this is one of the most beautiful areas around, but is maintained very poorly.The surrounding areas are kept quite well, but it doesn't seem like cleaning the lake our yearly or bi-yearly is a priority.I would like to swim in this lake with my family, but do not feel it is of swimming calibur, and when ever we go there it is usually closed. Maybe you all could see the benefit to this park and invest a little in cleaning the water and the beach area, as there is way too much seaweed in the beach area. Thx for understanding.... |

I am currently taking class towards a bachelor's degree. Can you give me any advice in what educational classes I should go for that would put me closer to my goal. My experiences have been voluneering for private own wildlife reserves. I have Rehab. a varity of wild life given what lives in Jacksonville, Fl.squirrals,possums,birds,snakes, you name it I've have saved it. I have been a veterinary assitance for domestic animals. My love of the wolf runs deep, so deep that our adopted child's middle name is Tala which is a Indian name meaning Wolf. Any advice you could give me to get me closer to my goal would be appreciative.... |
