This lake is so wonderful. Culvers Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Kymer Campground is a wonderful local campground; splendid water scenery is available at Culvers Lake Dam in close proximity to Culvers Lake. The Lost Cabin Trail is a good hiking trail near Culvers Lake; if you need a location to stay Forest Motel is a good choice. A fine site to check out in       close proximity to Culvers Lake is Culvers Gap, and Hornbeck's Creek is a nice whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a delightful visit? Delaware National Scenic River is quite in close proximity to Culvers Lake; a day on the slopes of Hidden Valley is just what you need. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Culvers Lake has it all. Head up to Mountain Creek and strap some skis to your feet; going for a hike on the Peenpack                  Trail is always a magnificent adventure. There's so much to do here at Culvers Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Harmony Ridge Campgrounds is a brilliant location for that; dry warm beds await you at Cobmin Ridge Motel. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Culvers Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Culvers Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Raymondskill Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Culvers Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is May; February meanwhile is the driest month.
