This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Culvers Lake, you could also visit wonderful Lake Kemah, and a magnificent location to have a look at nearby is Culvers Gap. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Culvers Lake Dam to stop at near Culvers Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close       by Mountain Creek. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hornbeck's Creek, and if you came to camp Kymer Campground is a good place to do that. Good hiking is available along the Bald Hill Trail; if you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Newton is a glorious choice. Go for a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail. High temperatures at Culvers Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's; the night is somewhat                  cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Culvers Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Do stop at Kittatinny Lake near Culvers Lake, it's a picturesque lake; if you have time to spare, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth a visit. What a place this is for outdoors people. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Culvers Lake; Peenpack Trail is a glorious local trail. There's so much to do here at Culvers Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Harmony Ridge Campgrounds is a good location for that.
