Cromwell Lake is a rather wet place usually with lots of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is ordinarily the driest month. Cromwell Lake Dam is charming and it's in close proximity to Cromwell Lake. If you need a place to stay The Bernards Inn is a magnificent choice, and don't forget to take a delightful little journey to Burnett Brook. There are       some tremendous whitewater spots on India Brook, and Cromwell Lake is a good site to camp, Fla Net Park Campgrounds is a good site. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Cromwell Lake has to offer. Olde Mill Inn is a great place to get some rest, and Roxiticus Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Summer at Cromwell Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.                  The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Cromwell Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Raritan River - North Branch, and a lake close by is Pleasant Valley Lake. The skiing at Mountain Creek is tremendous.
