Camp wabenaki is a tremendous campground here, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express RAMSEY-MAHWAH. For you golfers we recommend nearby Apple Ridge Country Club, and a day on the slopes of Sterling Forest is just what you need. Crestwood Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Visit Allendale Brook while you're here at Crestwood Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along       the Kakiat Trail. Through the months of summer here at Crestwood Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Crestwood Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Ramapo River in a kayak, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Cannonball                  Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Hlond Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter is reasonably near. If you come at the right time of year, Pequannock River offers some great whitewater, and Residence Inn By Marriott Saddle River is a pleasant place to get some rest. Here at Crestwood Lake there are plenty of people from New York-Newark-Edison. If you came for an overnight stay Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a tremendous site to camp; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Conklins Crossing.
