Hiking along the Kakiat Trail is delightful fun, and you'll meet a lot of folks from New York-Newark-Edison here. Everybody close by loves skiing at Sterling Forest. There's so much to do here at Crestwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a brilliant spot for that. High temperatures at Crestwood Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 60's. During

| | the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Crestwood Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably hooked on lakes, San Jacinto Lake is one of those close by, and there's some flowing water nearby, Allendale Brook is a stream you can check out while you're here. entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Ramapo River, and Crestwood Lake is right by the Cannonball Trail. This is a tremendous neighborhood
for folks who like lakes. Wyckoff Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; you can stay the night at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Mt. Peter are so inviting noone can resist, and there's whitewater
on Pequannock River for all you thrill seekers. After a long day outdoors Residence Inn Saddle River is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Conklins Crossing. Dry warm beds
await you at Holiday Inn Express RAMSEY-MAHWAH, and playing golf is lots of fun at Apple Ridge Country Club. Crestwood Lake frequently gets a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls through May while February is ordinarily the driest month.
