There's so much to do here at Cooper Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a good location for that, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest. After a long day outdoors Best Western Oritani Hotel is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and you'll meet a lot of folks from New York-Newark-Edison here. A spree to Gateway National       Recreation Area is worthwhile, and a round of golf at nearby Haworth Country Club is a perfect way to kill some time. If you came to camp Liberty Harbor RV Park is a great spot to do that; swing by Hirshfeld Brook it's a magnificent place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Clinton Inn Hotel is a perfect choice; do take a hike on the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail. Any time is a great time at Cooper Pond if you like the outdoors.                  Get drenched paddling on Ramapo River, and hiking along the Sherwood Path is delightful fun. Summertime highs at Cooper Pond typically tend to be in the 80's; the night is quite chillier of course, typically in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Cooper Pond drop into the 10's. If you want to hit the beach, Hazard Beach is in close proximity, and going for a hike along the Conklins Crossing will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
