Go for a hike on the Sherwood Path, and Clinton Inn Hotel is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Conklins Crossing, and Cooper Pond is not far at all from New York-Newark-Edison. There's some flowing water close by, Hirshfeld Brook is a stream you can explore while here. There's so much to do here at Cooper       Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Wildwood is a great location for that. Nothing beats kicking back at Hazard Beach, and do pop by Zabriskies Pond, it's a picturesque lake. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Cooper Pond. Cooper Pond ordinarily gets a good deal of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. Through the months of summer here at Cooper Pond, high temperatures                  typically reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and night lows at Cooper Pond during the winter usually drop into the 10's. There are nice places to look at along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail, and the views at Gateway National Recreation Area will blow your mind. You'll discover a delightful lake called Oradell Reservoir near Cooper Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cooper Pond has to offer, you can camp at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Cooper Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest if you're here, and enjoy a round of golf at Haworth Country Club.
