Cooper Pond in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. If you need a place to stay Clinton Inn Hotel is a nice choice, and
Oradell Reservoir is a wonderful lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Ramapo River, and splendid hiking is available along the Conklins Crossing. Cooper Pond is a wet place
that gets a great deal of rain; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February.
It's a nice idea to take a look at Hirshfeld Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Cooper Pond, and camping at Kaufmann
Henry Campgrounds is always a good experience. While you're here at Cooper Pond you can play some golf at Haworth Country Club, and you can go for a hike on the Sherwood Path.
