A visit to Cooper Pond is always a good idea. Whitewater paddling is nice on Ramapo River, and hey, Anderson Brook is a brilliant local stream. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Popolopen Creek. This lake is so wonderful. From Cooper Pond you get a tremendous panorama of Andre Hill, and Cooper Pond is right by the Sherwood Path.

everything Cooper Pond has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Pond, and there are other sites here than Cooper Pond, for example Lake Idlewild.
