Near Cooper Pond you stumble on the Woodtown Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and gorgeous scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Sterling Forest. All through the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Cooper Pond while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the       10's for Cooper Pond. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Duck Pond right next door to Cooper Pond; of course Anderson Brook flows through this vicinity. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Orangeburg-Rockland/Bergen, Ny, and while you're here you can play some golf at Montammy Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Cooper Pond is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a splendid site to camp nearby, and going                  for a hike on the Sherwood Path is always a great adventure. Get soaked paddling on Popolopen Creek, and if you need a spot to stay New York City/Nyack Super 8 Motel is a fine choice. The Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is a perfect hiking trail close to Cooper Pond; there are other places here than Cooper Pond, for example Lake Idlewild. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cooper Pond. Be careful coming to Cooper Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River, and Trailmark Outdoor Adventures is a great campground nearby. At Cooper Pond you can catch a sight of Andre Hill, and lots of people from New York-Newark-Edison come here.
