Why not stop by Cooks Pond if you're passing through these parts. Cooks Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Walpack Valley Campground is always a tremendous experience, and splendid hiking is available along the Bald Barren Trail.

| | day outdoors Econo Court Motel is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Blair Creek; there's whitewater on Bush Kill Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. This place, Cooks Pond, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Gotta ski! Alpine Mountain is a great location to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cooks Pond; Flat Ridge Trail is a splendid local trail.

Cooks Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's while Cooks Pond overnight low temperatures
through the wintertime are in the 10's. There are some fine whitewater spots on Pequest River; everybody close by loves skiing at Shawnee Mountain. If you came to camp Triple Brook Camping Resort is a glorious site to do that, and
if you need a place to stay Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a magnificent choice.
Delaware National Scenic River is a fine local destination here at Cooks Pond; Paulina Lake Dam is a beautiful spot, certainly worth going to.
