This is a popular site for folks from New York-Newark-Edison; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Cannonball Trail. Cooks Pond usually gets lots of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Sterling Forest has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and unsurprisingly, this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Parsons Pond is a lake in the vicinity.

choice. Howard Johnson Inn - Ramsey is a great place to get some rest, and camping is available at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. You just have to like Cooks Pond. If the weather is wonderful here at Cooks Pond, you can go for a hike
along the Pine Meadow Trail; Pequannock River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime highs at Cooks Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter
highs are in the 30's while Cooks Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Why not camp at Rein Teen Tours while you're here at Cooks Pond, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Kakiat Trail.
You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The scenery at Shadow Lake Dam in the vicinity of Cooks Pond is beautiful.
