Do stop by Connoley Lake while you're in this part of New Jersey. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Camp wabenaki since you're here at Connoley Lake, and at Connoley Lake you always meet someone from New York-Newark-Edison. A good deal of precipitation falls at Connoley Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Camping is available at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail. A delightful swamp right next door to Connoley Lake is Bear Swamp; dry warm beds await you at Hilton Woodcliff Lake. but if it's for you then we recommend Ramapo River; a quick tour to Pine Brook is undeniably a pleasant idea.
And that's not all you can do here at Connoley Lake. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest; do take
a hike on the Sherwood Path. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Popolopen Creek, and for you golfers we recommend close by Apple Ridge Country Club.
Summer brings highs in the 80's
to Connoley Lake, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Connoley Lake tend to be in the 10's. A lake close by
is Anona Lake; going for a hike along the Conklins Crossing will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
