Stay the night at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds, and Anona Lake is a wonderful lake nearby. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, take a look at Bear Swamp if you're here at Connoley Lake; you'll meet a lot of people from New York-Newark-Edison here. Through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Connoley Lake with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows at       Connoley Lake through the winter typically drop into the 10's. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River, and stunning scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Mt. Peter. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Apple Ridge Country Club is a magnificent way to kill some time, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. Take a side trip to Pine Brook, and there is a                  pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Sherwood Path. Connoley Lake is a wet location that gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. If you need a site to stay Hilton Woodcliff Lake is a good choice; there are magnificent places to discover along the Conklins Crossing. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Connoley Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Connoley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, National Camp Assn is a brilliant place for that, and there are other places here than Connoley Lake, for example Monsey Lake. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
