If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Jersey you can check out Columbia Lake. All through the warm months, highs typically are in the 80's at Columbia Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Columbia Lake. Columbia Lake gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is February.

Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Pequest River offers some splendid whitewater. If you need a location to stay Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is a fine choice; an afternoon playing golf at Great Bear Golf and Country
Club is always a pleasure. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a good tour? Delaware National Scenic River is reasonably in the vicinity of Columbia Lake, and a pretty lake like Lake Poco is a splendid place to stop by. This
lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Alpine Mountain in the neighborhood, and a nice location to camp here at Columbia Lake is Shady Acres Campgrounds. Going for a hike along the Indian Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty
of this area; since you're here, you could pop by Delawanna Creek. Take a hike on the Bald Barren Trail; dry warm beds await you at Columbia-Days Inn.
