Soar down the rapids of Raritan River - South Branch in a kayak. Lakes? Sure, Spring Lake is in the neighborhood, and get dripping wet paddling on       Delaware River. A lot of precipitation falls at Colonial Lake; July is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Colonial Lake through the summer months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Colonial Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Colonial Lake is fine enough to spend more                  than a day at, Laurel Pond Resort is a fine local campground; why not have a look at close by Branch of Pond Run while you're here at Colonial Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Colonial Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bucks County Country Day Schl is a good place for that; popping by New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Colonial Lake.
