Don't leave Clove Acres Lake without first going for a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. There's so much to do here at Clove Acres Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Toye's Recreation is a nice spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Paulins Kill River is so much fun, and Vernon/Mcafee Days Inn is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.       Whitewater paddling is good on Clove Brook, and why not take a little journey to Clove Brook if you're here. High temperatures at Clove Acres Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Clove Acres Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. If you came to camp Pleasant Acres Farm Campground is a                  perfect place to do that; the slopes of Hidden Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. Clove Acres Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. And that's not all you can do here at Clove Acres Lake. You could also explore Lake Neepaulin while you're here at Clove Acres Lake; it's close by; there are perfect spots to look at along the Peenpack Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mountain Creek, and an afternoon playing golf at Great Gorge Country Club is always a bliss.
