Beautiful Clots Lake has much to offer visitors. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ramapo River, and if you came for an overnight stay Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. Camping at Clots Lake is great fun, Camp wabenaki is a great local campground, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Pequannock River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest if you're here, and Clots Lake is right by the Kakiat Trail. After a long
day outdoors Regency House Hotel & Suites is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cannonball Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Millstone Hill from Clots Lake; dry warm
beds await you at Residence Inn by Marriott Wayne. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do close to Clots Lake. Sunset Valley Golf Course is a golf course in the vicinity of Clots Lake.
Clots Lake is a relatively wet place commonly
with a large amount of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Green Swamp Brook, and hiking along the Pine Meadow Trail is wonderful fun.
