This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Cannonball Trail, and after a long day outdoors Mountain Creek- Appalachian is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Clinton Brook close to Clinton Reservoir is a glorious idea; get yourself into a kayak and hit Pequannock       River. During the days of summer at Clinton Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Clinton Reservoir. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Hidden Valley, and Delaware National Scenic River is a wonderful national park. If you need a spot to stay Mineral Resorts And Spa is a pleasant choice; Clinton                  Reservoir is a good location to visit for more than one day, Camp Nyoda is a good location to camp nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Union Valley; since you're here and you like golf, you can visit Green Pond Golf Club. Not far from Clinton Reservoir, you'll come across Snow Valley Pond which is a picturesque lake; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Rockaway River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Clinton Reservoir a wet place; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is February. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Clinton Reservoir has it all. Skiing at Mountain Creek is one of those things you just ought to do.
