Don't leave Cedar Pond without first going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail, and Buckabear Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Mountain Creek- Black Creek Sanctuary is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and Cedar Pond Dam has fine water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid       location for whitewater paddling close to Cedar Pond is Rockaway River, and a lake close by is Hanks Pond. Gotta ski! Hidden Valley is a magnificent spot to do that, and you can run the rapids of Pequannock River. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Mountain Creek, and there's some flowing water nearby, Mossmans Brook is a stream you can have a look at during your stay. A nice nearby hotel is Mountain Creek- Appalachian,                  and an afternoon playing golf at Bowling Green Golf Club is always a joy. Cedar Pond gets a lot of water; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cedar Pond. You might want to pay a visit to Clinton Brook Valley if you're here at Cedar Pond. There's so much to do here at Cedar Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Ocawasin Lodge is a magnificent place for that. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Cedar Pond reach the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cedar Pond.
