Cedar Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. While staying at Cedar Pond you could always discover Clinton Brook Valley, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mountain Creek is a magnificent place to do that. Cedar Pond is near Cedar Pond Dam which is a stunning spot absolutely worth checking out, and do take a hike on the Cannonball Trail. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Cedar Pond has it all. There are some fine whitewater spots on Rockaway River, and playing golf is lots of fun at Bowling Green Golf Club. here at Cedar Pond get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cedar Pond.
Do pay
a visit to Gateway National Recreation Area since you're here at Cedar Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Mineral Resorts And Spa is a delightful place to get some rest, and Cedar Pond is a nice place to camp, Sun Air Lakeside Camp
is a nice place. Cedar Pond gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls through July; the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Hidden Valley are so inviting noone can resist, and if you come at the right time of year, Pequannock River offers some brilliant whitewater.
