Do stop by Cedar Pond while you're in this part of New Jersey. Cedar Pond is not far at all from Atlantic City, and after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Hammonton is a good spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cedar Pond has to offer, you can camp at Indian Branch Park Campground, and it's a great idea to visit Albertson Brook. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cedar Pond a wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. High temperatures at Cedar Pond through the warm months are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cedar Pond.
