This is a delightful vicinity for people who like lakes. Lower Yards Creek Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and camping is available at Appalacian Mountain Club. This lake is so wonderful. Delaware National Scenic River is a great national park, and paddling on Pequest River is so much fun. Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a wonderful place to get some rest, and the Smith Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. On a perfect day at Catfish Pond you can take

| | a hike along the Flat Ridge Trail; why not head up to Shawnee Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Summertime highs at Catfish Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Catfish Pond through the winter regularly descend into the 10's. the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Catfish Pond you can take a hike along the Bald Barren Trail; almost certainly you're
looking for close by lakes? Sure, Youngs Pond is just a very short distance away. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Catfish Pond has it all. You should certainly dedicate some time to Pahaquarry Flat since you're
here at Catfish Pond, and the snow is delightful at Alpine Mountain. Vancampens Brook is a magnificent site to go to, and Youngs Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out.
