Catfish Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The Smith Trail offers hiking at its best; why not explore Youngs Pond Dam while you're here. Vancampens Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; if you have the time, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth going to. Pequest River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can stay the night at Appalacian Mountain Club. Pahaquarry Flat is a perfect place here

| | at Catfish Pond, and you can hit the slopes at Shawnee Mountain around here. There's so much to do here at Catfish Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Walpack Valley Campground is a great location for that, and you'll locate a lovely lake called Lower Yards Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A stunning lake like Youngs Pond in the neighborhood of Catfish Pond is a tremendous location to check out, and Alpine Mountain is a very popular ski area | |

nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Catfish Pond without first going for a hike along the Bald Barren Trail; Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a good place to get some rest. Catfish Pond commonly gets a large amount of rainfall;
the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Be careful coming to Catfish Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's nice hiking along the Flat Ridge Trail. For the
duration of the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Catfish Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter
temperatures at Catfish Pond drop into the 10's. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Catfish Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Value Inn East Stroudsburg, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bush Kill Creek.
