The beauty of Cantys Lake is reason enough to stop by. At Cantys Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cantys Lake. This location rocks, just look at all the exciting stuff to do next to Cantys Lake. If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a magnificent view of Kikeout Mountain

brilliant local campground, and not far from Cantys Lake you'll find Butler Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. A great close by hotel is Butler Guest House, and Sunset Valley Golf Course is a good golf course nearby.
This lake
is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail, and Gateway National Recreation Area is a very delightful spot to go to. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Cantys
Lake is Pequannock River; Cantys Lake is a glorious place to camp, Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a glorious place. Near Cantys Lake you stumble on the Cannonball Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; Rockaway River is a good whitewater
spot close by.
Going for a hike on the Kakiat Trail is always a great adventure, and skiing at Hidden Valley is one of those things you just should do. Cantys Lake Dam is wonderful and it's close to Cantys Lake, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Mountain Creek.
