If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Jersey you can check out Canns Lake. Canns Lake is a quite wet place usually with lots of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kakiat Trail; if you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Inn is a brilliant choice. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express RAMSEY-MAHWAH, and

Here at Canns Lake you'll most likely meet some people from New York-Newark-Edison, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Mt. Peter is a fine place to do that, and camping is available at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Canns Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The Conklins Crossing
offers hiking at its best, and Pequannock River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Everybody close by loves skiing at Sterling Forest, and getting to Allendale Brook from Canns Lake is simple. Canns Lake really is in the
middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Wyckoff Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Canns Lake; Cannonball Trail is a tremendous local trail. While you're here at Canns
Lake, you could also take a look at beautiful Mirror Lake; why not camp at National Camp Assn since you're here at Canns Lake.
