Sure, Triangle Lake is right next door to Canistear Reservoir, and Mineral Resorts And Spa is a great place to get some rest. Canistear Reservoir regularly gets a large amount of rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Cliffwood Lake since you're here at Canistear Reservoir; it's nearby, and if you need a location to stay Mountain Creek- Appalachian       is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Hidden Valley is just what you need; Delaware National Scenic River is one of the destinations that are tremendous to visit close by. If you came to camp Camp Nyoda is a pleasant site to do that. Not far from Canistear Reservoir you get some wonderful water scenery at Cannistear Reservoir Dam Number One; you can run the rapids of Pequannock River. At Canistear Reservoir through the long                  summer days highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Canistear Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Canistear Reservoir. For you golfers we recommend nearby Bowling Green Golf Club, and camping at Sun Air Lakeside Camp is always a good experience. Hiking along the Cannonball Trail is nice fun, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Rockaway River.
