The high level of rainfall makes Buttonwood Lake a relatively wet spot; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. The top of Mount Holly is easily spotted from Buttonwood Lake; after a long day outdoors Mill Street Hotel is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Smithville Dam is a charming spot near Buttonwood Lake, and paddling on Delaware River is so much fun.       So much amusing stuff close to Buttonwood Lake, clearly mind-boggling. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn - Mt Holly, and a golf course nearby is Deerwood Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve is one of the destinations near Buttonwood Lake that are great to go to, and camping is available at Paradise Lake Camping Resort. All through the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Buttonwood Lake.                  Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Buttonwood Lake.
