This is a delightful vicinity for people who like lakes. Highland Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and there's some flowing water close by, Molly Ann Brook is a stream you can visit during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Paterson is a splendid choice; a short trip to Passaic Falls is       always worthwhile. Summertime highs at Butchers Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; nighttime lows at Butchers Pond throughout the winter usually descend into the 10's. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Horizons is a wonderful place to camp, and New Street Reservoir Dam is a place that is close to Butchers Pond. And that's                  not all you can do here at Butchers Pond. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River; playing golf is lots of fun at Packanack Golf Club. Pequannock River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Butchers Pond, and why not camp at Rein Teen Tours while you're here at Butchers Pond. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Butchers Pond has to offer. Butchers Pond mostly gets a lot of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Butchers Pond is right by the Pine Meadow Trail, and why not head up to Mt. Peter and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Butchers Pond; Cannonball Trail is a wonderful local trail, and if you have time, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at.
