New Jersey has many beautiful lakes and Bunker Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and dry warm beds await you at Illusions The Sheraton Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Lolos Suites & Sundries is a great place to spend a night or two, and you don’t have to go far from Bunker Pond to distinguish the water at Shadow Lake Dam.

| | Throughout the long summer days at Bunker Pond highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Bunker Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
If the weather is great here at Bunker Pond, you can go for a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter is quite near. Get covered with water paddling on | |

Pequannock River, and camping at Robert Moses is always a great experience. If you're here at Bunker Pond, you could stop at Spring Lake Brook; if you've had enough of Bunker Pond, Cooks Pond is nearby.
A round of golf at nearby
Apple Ridge Country Club is a fine way to kill some time, and the snow is delightful at Sterling Forest. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Bunker Pond. Whitewater paddling is wonderful
on Ramapo River; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Cannonball Trail. The peak of Campgaw Mountain can be spotted from Bunker Pond, and Bunker Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Camp wabenaki is a wonderful
local campground.
Bunker Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site.
