If you are traveling by, why not stop by Brushwood Pond. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Very gorgeous scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Mt. Peter, and a quick journey to Cupsaw Brook is certainly a perfect idea. Brushwood Pond commonly gets much rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to The Bowl revitalizes the soul, and get your heart beating

| | on the nice whitewater of Pequannock River. At Brushwood Pond you can distinguish Bellot Mountain, and North Cape is not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are perfect; Adler Pool is a lake that's right next door to Brushwood Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Sheraton Crossroads Hotel is a wonderful choice. There's great hiking along the Kakiat Trail, and at Brushwood Pond you always meet someone from New York-Newark-Edison. Brushwood | |

Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby; the striking Ramapo Mountains is here. Why not stop at a swamp like Bear Swamp while you're here at
Brushwood Pond, and Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a great local campground. Brushwood Pond is right next door to Upper Erskine Lake Dam which is a beautiful site undeniably worth visiting, and what would winter be without some skiing
at Sterling Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Brushwood Pond without first going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Brushwood Pond. You're possibly addicted
to lakes, Gatun Pond is one of those nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Ramapo River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Brushwood Pond; Pine Meadow Trail is a brilliant
local trail, and a nice nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Mahwah. All through the months of summer highs here at Brushwood Pond get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime
are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Brushwood Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
