Head up to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet, and there are other places here than Bridge Pond, for example Oldham Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Bridge Pond is right by the Pine Meadow Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River. Summertime highs at Bridge Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings                  highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bridge Pond descend into the 10's. Bridge Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Rein Teen Tours is a nice local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bridge Pond; Cannonball Trail is a magnificent local trail.
