You can run the rapids of Ramapo River near Bridge Pond, and there are great spots to look at along the Cannonball

location for whitewater paddling near Bridge Pond is Pequannock River; Gateway National Recreation Area is a great place nearby. Don't leave Bridge Pond without first going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail; the peak of Mount Cecchino can be observed from Bridge Pond.
