Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kakiat Trail, and if you have the time, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at. highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bridge Pond descend into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Paterson, and lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Lotz Pond.
So many amusing things to do at Bridge Pond, so little time. For you golfers we recommend nearby Packanack Golf Club; Goffle Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Cecchino

Pond a rather wet spot; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
