you can go for a hike along the Bald Hill Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Raymondskill Creek, and if you're here, you could also stop at striking Lake Wapalanne. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location.
One of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Branchville Reservoir is Sunrise Mountain, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Hidden Valley. Looking for some flowing water? Try Forked Brook, and
Lake Ocquittunk is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Branchville Reservoir. Why not camp at Kymer Campground while you're here at Branchville Reservoir;
whitewater paddling is great on Clove Brook. The high level of rain makes Branchville Reservoir a quite wet place; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
