A visit to Gateway National Recreation Area is recommended, and there's a great forest called Norvin Green State Forest. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Boy Scout Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Boy Scout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a nice place for       that; going for a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Regency House Hotel; there are other spots here than Boy Scout Lake, for example Kitchell Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Boy Scout Lake you hit upon the Kakiat Trail which is a good hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Boy Scout Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Ocawasin Lodge. This is no spot                  for people who don’t like to have fun. Enjoy a round of golf at Sunset Valley Golf Course not far from Boy Scout Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Cannonball Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Boy Scout Lake, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Lower Mount Glen Lake. Skiing at Mt. Peter is one of those things you just must do, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rockaway River. If you need a spot to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Wayne is a fine choice, also Kitchell Lake Dam is worth going to while you're here. At Boy Scout Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Boy Scout Lake.
