Yeah, come here to Bogert Pond for a wonderful time. Gateway National Recreation Area is a pleasant place in the neighborhood of Bogert Pond. Summertime highs at Bogert Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight       is a bit colder of course, generally in the 60's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Bogert Pond. On a wonderful day at Bogert Pond you can take a hike along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail, and soar down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Paramus; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Sherwood Path. Camping is available at Kaufmann                  Henry Campgrounds; not far from Bogert Pond you'll find Woodcliff Lake which is a scenic lake. So much cool stuff to do here at Bogert Pond, too glorious to be true. Lots of folks from New York-Newark-Edison come to Bogert Pond, and a round of golf at nearby Edgewood Country Club is a great way to kill some time. Get drenched paddling on Ramapo River, and Oradell Reservoir Dam is picturesque. A great deal of rain falls at Bogert Pond; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Conklins Crossing is always a great adventure, and the slopes of Sterling Forest are so inviting noone can resist.
