Why not stop by Bogert Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Oradell Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Bogert Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Ramapo River offers some delightful whitewater. On a perfect day at Bogert Pond you can take a hike along the Conklins Crossing, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Popolopen Creek. | | this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Bogert Pond, you can go for a hike along the Sherwood Path, and Sterling Forest is a nice local ski area. After a long day outdoors Crowne Plaza Hotel AT PARAMUS PARK is a nice location to spend a night or two, and there's some flowing water nearby, Holdrum Brook is a stream you can go to while here. Henry Campgrounds, and Radisson Inn is a delightful location to get some rest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Bogert Pond. All our national parks are good locations to have a look at, and Gateway National
Recreation Area is no exception, and as expected, this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Oradell Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. Going for a hike along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail will let you absorb the
natural beauty of this neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Bogert Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Liberty Harbor RV Park is a great site for that. At Bogert Pond throughout the days of summer highs are in
the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Bogert Pond tend to be in the 10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the entertaining stuff at Bogert Pond. You'll meet a lot of people from New York-Newark-Edison here, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Edgewood Country Club.
