There's a great category IV-V+ run of whitewater nearby on Hornbeck's Creek, the 1.8-mile-long Emery's Road to Route 209 portion. The Emery's Road to Route 209 portion of Hornbeck's Creek is recommended for expert raft paddlers solely. Don't go whitewater kayaking and rafting before first checking restrictions; it's hazardous matter. The wonderful marina of Marina Beach Three is a good site to leave dry land behind. There's so much to do here at Blue Mountain Lakes
that you need to camp here for a while, Walpack Valley Campground is a wonderful location for that. There are other places here than Blue Mountain Lakes, for example Crandon Lakes.
