Bald Hill is a peak you can make out from Birchwood Lake; Mountain Creek has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Stony Brook; lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Arrowhead Lake. High temperatures at Birchwood Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club while you're here at Birchwood Lake, and great skiing awaits you at
Hidden Valley. A good nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Parsippany. This place, Birchwood Lake, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. Go for a hike on the Cannonball Trail, and Hampton Inn is a magnificent place to get some
rest.
A great spot near Birchwood Lake is Rockaway Valley, and camping at Birchwood Lake is perfect fun, Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a perfect local campground.
