Beautiful scenery. A trail surrounding the second and 3rd ponds makes for a nice walk although a little overgrown in places. Fishing has been slow to recover from the fishkill in 2001 when fertilizer chemicals built up on the deep bottom mixed with the pondwater creating toxic conditions for the fish. It is slowly improving with the bass and pickerel that have survived are replenishing the fish population. I've caught some 4 to 6 pound bass in recent years so they must have been around before and survived the fishkill which is good news. The Pond is stocked with trout annually, but I can't see them lasting longer than a couple of weeks due to the warm and stagnant waters. Spring and early summer are the best times to go before the fertilizer rich waters of pond foster abundant algae and lillypad growth. The second and third ponds are the best for bass, while catfish can be caught anywhere and thrive in the stagnant waters. I would recommend shiners for bass if you can find them anywhere, but lures work fine.

Bee Meadow Pond is a nice lake to visit. A splendid spot to camp here at Bee Meadow Pond is Camp Horizons, and Hidden Valley has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. An out of the ordinary thing to check out near Bee Meadow Pond is Lake Parsippany Dam, and if you get bored of Bee Meadow Pond you could also stop at close by Lake Parsippany. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bee Meadow Pond a wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most

| | of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Courtyard By Marriott Hanover is a perfect spot to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Mountain Creek close at hand. Black Brook is a pleasant local stream. Bee Meadow Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a good local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bee Meadow Pond; Cannonball Trail is a good local trail.

This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Pequannock River, and dry warm beds await you at Sierra Suites Parsippany. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in close proximity to
Bee Meadow Pond has to offer. Golf can be played at Madison Golf Club, and a lake close by is Hood Pond. All through the warmest time of the year at Bee Meadow Pond highs are typically in the 80's, and the night is quite cooler of
course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Bee Meadow Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
Rockaway River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Black Meadows is right close by.
