Getting to Franklin Pond Creek from Beaver Lake is simple, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Paulins Kill River. High temperatures at Beaver Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are       in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Beaver Lake. Lakes are great; Tamarack Lake is a lake that's near Beaver Lake; Beaver Hill Campground is a perfect local campground. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. At Lake Gerard Dam in the vicinity of Beaver Lake there are some exciting things to see; a magnificent nearby hotel is Mountain Creek Resort. Beaver Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation;                  during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Edison Pond is one of those close by, and an afternoon playing golf at Black Bear Golf Club is always a pleasure. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hidden Valley, and Days Inn McAfee - Vernon is a fine site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
