The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Bearfort Waters. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Bearfort Waters dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bearfort Waters a wet place;       of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. For you golfers we recommend nearby Spa Executive Nine Golf Course, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cannonball Trail. Camping at Camp Ocawasin Lodge is always a fine experience. And that's not all you can do here at Bearfort Waters. The top of Bearfort Mountain is easily seen from Bearfort Waters, and Lookover Lake is a nearby lake that                  you could have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Mountain Creek- Black Creek Sanctuary is a great choice, and Bearfort Waters is good enough to spend more than a day at, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a good local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Rockaway River offers some great whitewater, and nearby you hit upon tremendous places like Clinton Brook Valley. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area right next door to Bearfort Waters has to offer. Really great skiing awaits you at Hidden Valley, and if you get bored of Bearfort Waters you could also pop by nearby Terrace Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pequannock River, and Bearfort Waters is right by the Kakiat Trail. Mountain Creek has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, also Lookover Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here.
