Bear Swamp Lake is a nice lake to visit. Bear Swamp Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you obtain a sight of Mount Defiance from Bear Swamp Lake; there are magnificent spots to explore along the Cannonball Trail. Crossroads is a magnificent choice. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Sunset Valley Golf Course is around here, and Bear Swamp Lake Dam is a gorgeous spot, beyond doubt worth going to. Camping at Bear Swamp

wonderful. Near Bear Swamp Lake you hit upon pleasant places like Middle Valley, and the peaks of the Ramapo Mountains dominate the scenery of this vicinity. Lakes are good; Adler Pool is a lake that's close to Bear Swamp Lake,
and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pequannock River. This lake is so wonderful. Mt. Peter is a very popular ski area around here, and a trip to close by North Cape is very relaxing.
