Barbour Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail, and not far from Barbour Pond you'll come across Country Club Ponds which is a pretty lake. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Barbour Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to explore along the Kakiat Trail, and Mt. | | proximity. Sterling Forest has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and after a long day outdoors Wellesley Inn Wayne is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Barbour Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a good local campground, and on a magnificent day you can have a look at Franklin Swamp, a swamp next to Barbour Pond. on the Cannonball Trail is always a fine adventure. Be careful coming to Barbour Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pequannock
River; a golf course nearby is Packanack Golf Club. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Barbour Mill Dam near Barbour Pond; a delightful place to camp here at Barbour Pond is Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club. Throughout the
warm days of summer highs here at Barbour Pond get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's while Barbour Pond night
low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Ramapo River, and Mount Cecchino can be spotted from Barbour Pond. Barbour Pond regularly gets lots of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
