Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Ramapo River, and do take a look at New Street Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake. At Barbour Pond all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Barbour Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Barbour Pond has to offer,

| | you can camp at Camp Horizons, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to observe at New Street Reservoir Dam in the vicinity of Barbour Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Barbour Pond a wet location; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. the night at Rein Teen Tours. There's whitewater on Pequannock River for all you adrenaline kick people; picturesque scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Mt. Peter. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Barbour
Pond called the Cannonball Trail, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from New York-Newark-Edison for sure. Go for a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Packanack
Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Molly Ann Brook is a splendid location to check out; after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Paterson is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. If time allows, Gateway National Recreation
Area is a national park worth taking a look at, and do put some time aside to spend at Passaic Falls while you're here at Barbour Pond. Butchers Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Be careful coming to Barbour Pond, you
might not ever wanna return back home again. What would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest; Holiday Inn TOTOWA WAYNE is a splendid place to get some rest.
