All the water falling down from the sky makes Anona Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Apple Ridge Country Club is a golf course close to Anona Lake. There's so much to do here at Anona Lake that you need to camp here for a while, National Camp Assn is a great site for that.       This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Anona Lake you can take a hike along the Conklins Crossing; you can hit the slopes at Sterling Forest close by. If the weather is delightful here at Anona Lake, you can go for a hike along the Sherwood Path. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Anona Lake has to offer, you can camp at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. The Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Anona Lake. The                  best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mt. Peter, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Island Lake. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and as expected Pine Brook flows through this neighborhood. Whitewater paddling is great on Popolopen Creek. Lakes? Sure, Monsey Lake is nearby. This place, Anona Lake, it completely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express RAMSEY-MAHWAH, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River.
