The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Angens Pond, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Angens Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Delaware River Family Campground is       a great local campground, and Fairway Valley Golf Club is a glorious golf course nearby. There's some flowing water close by, Brass Castle Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay; you can run the rapids of Pequest River. St Cloud Hotel is a perfect site to get some rest, and good water scenery is available at Angens Pond Dam near Angens Pond. If you came to camp Driftstone On The Delaware is a great place to do that, and a great place for whitewater                  paddling is Martins Creek. The snow is wonderful at Shawnee Mountain. The high level of rainfall makes Angens Pond a relatively wet place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
