If you need a spot to stay Wellesley Inn Fairfield is a great choice, and a good spot close by is Preakness Valley. At Adams Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Adams Lake. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. If you came to camp Camp       Horizons is a good spot to do that, and Adams Lake is not the only place nearby, Packanack Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Sterling Forest has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Rockaway River, and nice water scenery is available at Packanack Lake Dam next to Adams Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Packanack Golf Club, and                  if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River. Adams Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You get a good view of Packanack Mountain from Adams Lake; dry warm beds await you at Crowne Plaza Hotel FAIRFIELD. Man, is there loads of cool things to do near Adams Lake. While you're here at Adams Lake you can take a hike along the Kakiat Trail, and since you're here, you could stop at Deepavaal Brook. Mt. Peter is a very popular ski area in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Adams Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rein Teen Tours is a fine place for that.
