Zephyr Lake is a nice lake to visit. There are some good whitewater spots on Stony Brook; pleasant hiking is available along the Old Country Road. Pats Peak is a delightful local ski area, and a golf course nearby is Monadnock Country Club. From Zephyr Lake you acquire a perfect view of Blanchard Hill, and camping is available at Echo Valley. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Zephyr Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout

great site to camp. Don't leave Zephyr Lake without first going for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Crotched Mountain is rather near. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy
themselves. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Zephyr Lake has it all. If you're looking for a beach close to Zephyr Lake, we recommend Campers Beach, and a nice close by hotel is Courtyard Fitchburg. An average
amount of rainfall falls at Zephyr Lake; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is January. Go for a hike on the Wapack Trail; a pleasant beach close by is Picnickers Beach.
