During the months of summer here at York Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at York Pond are in the 0's. On a great day at York Pond you can take a hike along the York Pond Trail, and dry warm beds await you at A Top Notch Inn. Now,       you may believe that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Androscoggin River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything York Pond has to offer, you can camp at Nay Pond Campground. A typical amount of rain falls here at York Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. York Pond Dam is an attention-grabbing                  thing to check out, and why not a little side spree to Brandy Brook. So much entertaining stuff to do at York Pond, so little time. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Upper Ammonoosuc River - West Branch, and if you've had enough of York Pond, Kilback Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Godfrey Pond since you're here at York Pond; it's nearby, and you'll meet a lot of people from Berlin here. While you're here at York Pond you can take a hike along the Pond of Safety Trail; if you need a place to stay Royalty Inn is a fine choice. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bretton Woods is near York Pond, and going for a hike along the Upper Ammonoosuc Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This spot is excellent, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of York Pond.
