    Why not stop by Lake Winnipesaukee if you're passing through these parts. So much enjoyable stuff in the White Mountains, just mind-blowing. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold Brook, and don't forget to go to Coleman Point if you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Lake Winnipesaukee. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Winnipesaukee; Red Path is a perfect local trail. And that's not everything you can do here in the  
   White Mountains. Here at Lake Winnipesaukee there are plenty of folks from Laconia, and since you're here, you could also check out wonderful Round Pond.
For the duration of the days of summer here at Lake Winnipesaukee, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while Lake Winnipesaukee overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the
 
               0's. Go for a hike on the Old Locke Road Path; if you came to camp Bay Hill Campground and Cabins is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wolfeboro Inn, and Moultonborough Town Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood.
You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Abenaki is a tremendous local ski area; you'll find a stunning lake called Mirror Lake. Lake Winnipesaukee is a wet location that gets much rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Gunstock is right next door to Lake Winnipesaukee, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Gilford Beach.
Lake Winnipesaukee is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Bearcamp River offers some good whitewater, and if you need a spot to stay The Summit Resort is a great choice. Good hiking is available along the Mount Katherine Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Winnipesaukee that you need to camp here for a while, Long Island Bridge Campground is a great place for that.
